Taupō Family Centre Inc. is funded and contracted to deliver specialised Family and Sexual Violence crisis and post-crisis recovery services.

Our approach is trauma responsive, creating a supportive and safe environment for individuals/ whānau to heal from the trauma.

Integrated services include:

Whānau Resilience: for whānau to enhance their resilience to Family Violence and make healthy choices and live free from violence.  

Family Violence Services: A Specialised support that is whānau directed and provides a wholistic approach towards wellbeing.

Sexual Violence:  Our multidisciplinary team provides a compassionate approach that is trauma responsive to support whānau /individuals on their healing journey and become connected to themselves and others.

Oranga Tamariki:

Our Oranga Tamariki-contracted support services include:

• Supervised Contact,

• Counselling and whānau support

• Sexual Violence

• Family Violence

Qualified practitioners provide professional, confidential client /whānau-centred counselling, therapy and individualised support.

Counselling and therapy are forms of talk-based support that aim to help individuals cope with emotional, psychological, or behavioural changes and concerns about their wellbeing.

• Guidance and assistance, focused on individual and whānau needs and goals.

• Connecting whānau to pathways of culturally inclusive support

• Explore and learn life strategies towards growth and resilience

• Resourcing whānau and families with information, education, and practical support.

Employee Support Services at Taupō Family Centre Inc. provides a range of resources and assistance to support employees in managing both personal and work related challenges.

Our multidisciplinary team offers counselling, information and referrals to help employees navigate difficult situations and enhance their overall wellbeing, including stress management, work life balance, relationship issues, suicide prevention and critical incident management.
