Join Taupō Family Centre Inc. this World Suicide Prevention Day as we come together to raise awareness, support our community, and promote wellbeing through our annual Do Life Challenge.

This challenge shines a light on the heartbreaking reality of the 630 lives lost to suspected suicide in Aotearoa. We invite individuals, workplaces, sports teams, whānau and community groups to creatively incorporate the number 630 into a challenge of their own while raising awareness, encouraging connection and wellbeing.

✅ Gym Team: 6 movements for 30 minutes
✅Tenpin Bowling: 630 bowls
✅ Community Group: 0 excuses, 6 friends, 3 activities

The challenge is yours to design. Get creative but most importantly, bring people together.

Every sudden death by suicide in Aotearoa is a heartbreak beyond words. We remember the individuals and whānau affected.

The Do Life Challenge is one of Taupō Family Centre's key events for raising awareness and gaining support.

Donations raised will help our specialist team continue providing:

• Free counselling services
• Practical social support
• Resources for individuals and whānau facing challenges
• Support for those impacted by suicide and mental health struggles

Every dollar raised stays right here in our community.

Taupō Family Centre Inc. is proud to partner with Property Brokers Taupō and ITM Taupō for our annual World Suicide Prevention Day for a Wellbeing Connect Tradie Breakfast.

 Thursday, 10 September 2026

 ITM Taupō, 5 Curlys Way, Tauhara

Bring your crew, grab some brekkie and join us as we come together to raise awareness, strengthen connections and support wellbeing in our community.

Our Taupō Family Centre team will be on site to share information about the free counselling, social work and practical support services we provide across our community. Children's Day Teddy Bears Picnic 2026

Join us for the Annual Children's Day Teddy Bear Picnic 2026!

This year's theme is "Kidz 4 Life" celebrating the magic of childhood, creativity, and the joy of being a kid. We're proud to partner with Property Brokers Taupō, to bring this special day together for our community, in celebration of our tamariki.

There will be food, goodie bags, bouncy castles, fun competitions, spot prizes, and plenty of teddy bear magic to make it a day to remember. Don’t forget your gold coin to register!

This event is for tamariki aged 0-10 years, but the whole whānau is warmly invited to come along and enjoy the fun together. More details will be shared soon, so keep an eye out.

Gather your whānau, bring your teddy bears, and join us for a fun-filled Kidz 4 Life celebration.
